Welcome, Ms. Jennings! My name is Julia Jennings. I am elated to be one of your second grade teachers this year. A little about... I have been married to my husband, Jim, for 30 years. We have 3 wonderful children, James, Katie, and Emily. We also have two dogs Harvey, a Vizsla and Lucy, a yorkie shih tzu mix. We live in Erie. We moved here 6 years ago from my hometown, El Paso, TX. I taught in a little school district near my home for 10 years, before moving to CO in 2005. We decided I would stay home with our children, so I put my teaching career on a temporary hold. We moved back to El Paso in 2010, where I continued to stay home with our children. We had the opportunity to move back to Colorado in 2016. When we came back, our children were older, so I decided to go back to work outside our home. This led me to Spark!Discovery Preschool. I worked there for 5 years as a paraprofessional, the last 2 years in the special needs classroom. As much as I loved what I did at Spark! I knew I wanted to get back into teaching. The opportunity to work at Twin Peaks became available so I jumped at it! I am thrilled! Besides enjoying time with my family, I enjoy music, reading, golf, movies, being outside, camping, cooking and baking.

Help us welcome Ms. Carpenter to Twin Peaks! My name is Erin Carpenter and I'll be starting my first year at Twin Peaks as the Secondary Choir and Theatre teacher. Prior to moving to Colorado, I lived in Alexandria, VA and worked for two years as an elementary music teacher in D.C. public schools. Additionally, I worked as a freelance musician in the DMV area. My time as a freelance musician ranged from working as a vocal mentor for the National Children's Chorus DC Chapter, to singing alongside other professional musicians at the Baltimore Basilica and the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in DC. I have two sisters, as well as a nephew and niece back in Maryland that I love to spoil! Since moving to Colorado, I have loved exploring local parks as well as going hiking with my eight month old puppy, Terra. I can't wait to get started at Twin Peaks!
