You have a good idea, but now what?
In Rhetoric and AP Language, Dr. Moe and Ms. Anderson help their students understand how to speak convincingly by considering the perspective of their audience. Students analyze speeches and present their own ideas in front of their peers.

Think you could find the area of a soccer field in standard units using just your feet? Eighth graders at Twin Peaks can.
In Mr. Bernard's class, students pace the length and width of the field walking heel to toe. We then trace their shoes and measure the length of a shoe. Converting steps to cm, then cm to m, we determine the length of each side in SI units and calculate the area.

What do you want to do after you graduate?
Twin Peaks High School welcomes representatives from colleges, speakers on career options, and members of the military to discuss their experiences and answer student questions. We started this month with representatives from the NROTC, who shared scholarship opportunities available to students.

New to the school?
In the high school at Twin Peaks, student ambassadors welcome new students and provide opportunities to get to know each other. So far, we've played board games and made locker decorations, and we're planning on another event to get ready for Spirit Week (September 25-29)!
The PTO is proud to host the 2023 Timberwolf Trot on Friday, Sept 29th! Our annual fun run helps raise money for PTO initiatives each year that benefit our school and community. We hope you'll join us to cheer on students! Stay tuned for class run times. This year, we're using 99Pledges for parents to create personalized fundraising pages for their students.
