Ms. Anderson's AP US History course played "Guess the Colony" today as they reviewed the colonies formed in America by various European countries. Groups performed skits to highlight key differences. They had a great time, and their fun skits had lots of important content, too!

The Secondary English team is also hard at work helping our students read and discuss some of the Great Books in the classical tradition-even reading some texts in Latin. Great literature helps to shape our students' moral imagination, and the teachers at Twin Peaks know that the pursuit of knowledge for its own sake is both worthy and doable for every student. Our modern physics class investigating the scientific process. The students were given segments from a book to try and determine what was happening, but just like in science, pieces of information were missing. Through more pages of the book being discovered and further investigation, students were able to better interpret what was happening in the story.
