Mr. Bernard's Astronomy class spent last week identifying galaxies based on what they look like in different parts of the spectrum. As Mr. Bernard puts it, "It's only when we look beyond the limitations of our eyes, we see the true nature of the universe."
High school students at Twin Peaks have a good number of electives available to them-- from Ceramics to AP Human Geography, and from Astronomy to Philosophy.
This is it! You have less than 24 hours to purchase tickets to this year's Twin Peaks Classical Academy Gala. Ticket sales end Wednesday, February 21st. Gala proceeds go towards school security- a cause we can all get behind! If you are unable to attend, you can still donate a teacher ticket, a partial teacher ticket, or make a general donation!

It has been an amazing season for our High School Women's Basketball team. Winners of the Twin Peaks Winter Classic before break, regular season champs of the Foothills League, and today, they WON the Foothills League Tournament Championship. First ever league Champs in a team sport! WOW. So much fun , and Coach Schauer is so proud of them all! First Team all league selections, Ella Schauer and Kaleigh Van Pelt, Honorable Mentions Rayn Ndow and Charlotte Hughes. Men's All League selections Yannis Diby First Team All League and Matthew Wurth honorable mention. Tuesday Night District 7 Playoffs begin. Boys, will play at Union Colony Prep in Greeley 5:30 PM, and the CHAMPS will host Union Colony Prep at Twin Peaks 5:00 PM tip off at TPCA! Come out, and support these amazing student athletes. Awesome job Timberwolves Nation.

Next week (Feb 12-16th), let's show our love for our community by celebrating Kindness Week! The entire school will be participating, so please check out the elementary, middle school, and high school flyers for all the fun days and requests for help!
Elementary students will be creating a GIANT Kindness paper chain!
Secondary students are asked to bring in donations of athletic clothing, shoes, socks, and underwear to help support Mountain States Children's Home's therapeutic athletic program.
Dear TPCA Community,
The Board of Directors voted this morning to hire Alycia Burns as the next Executive Director of Twin Peaks Classical Academy beginning formally in August of 2025.
I describe Mrs. Burns as my right hand. She has been my designated emergency successor for the last four years. Ours is a true partnership and she already has been trained in many aspects of the Executive Director's job. She has informally assumed more than a few of my duties already. Having Mrs. Burns designated as the next Executive Director this far in advance will provide an almost seamless transition of leadership for Twin Peaks Classical Academy. I have no doubt Mrs. Burns is the right individual to propel Twin Peaks Classical Academy forward.

One of our favorite events of the year is the Tribute to Teachers award celebration sponsored by St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation. We love it because it recognizes and honors our outstanding teachers for their excellence in teaching.
Please help by nominating a teacher who you believe exemplifies excellence for a Teacher of the Year Award.
